At our Christmas Social our Society tradition is for many of us to exchange Christmas cards. Every year we are amazed at the wonderful cards our members make. Some are primarily calligraphic and others illustrate our members other talents and interests, e.g. photography, stamping, collage, watercolour.

Our Corresponding Secretary sends out Thank You, Sympathy, Get Well, Congratulations and Thinking of You cards on our behalf. At our September 2008 meeting we made cards for her to use. Most of the cards were made using Strathmore Watercolour Cards (with a green deckle edge) which was our paper sample for the month and were made at the meeting. Some members brought embellishments, etc. with them to add to their cards. Birthday cards were excluded from this activity.
