Explore the whimsical world of creatures in the borders. Together, we’ll look at the forms these illustrations took, how they were used, and how they can be applied in a contemporary context. Come prepared to create!

Supplies to bring :

• Pencil, eraser, fine point Micron pen
• Tracing paper
• Smooth paper that will take water media (I like hot presswatercolour paper)
• Calligraphy pen for the hand of your choosing
• Selection of short quotes (I like them sassy to pair with the creatures)
• Optional: grid tracing paper, saral paper, light box,gouache, small paint brushes (0 round and smaller),water pot, rag/paper towel
