Join us for our September 27 meeting.

Join us for our first meeting of the Fall as we begin to explore Black and White the theme for our next exhibition. We’ll be doing letters on 2 inch squares – white on black and black on white. Then we’ll look at ways to use our letters to form words.

Join us for our May 24 Meeting: Frame Your Work

Randy Green, owner of Frame Right Picture Frames in Burnaby, will give us some
tips and tricks of framing. Many of us have simply been using the Society provided
white mats and silver frames for years. Now that framing is up to us, how can we find
the perfect mat for our work? What frame would be best?

Join us for our January 25th Meeting

Red and White and Gouache with Wendy Cowley and Sherry Springall

Have you ever written with gouache? It is the preferred medium for many calligraphers as you can mix your own colours without having to buy yet another bottle of ink. We will be providing you with some red and white gouache to try it out. Why red and white? Because our exhibition theme for 2107 is True North Strong as we celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday! Gouache will be supplied.

Further details of the program are on the meeting page.
