Join us for our September 28 meeting – Texture upon Watercolour
Join us as Catherine Cooper shares her technique of using layerd watercolour papers and lettering to add framing, depth, texture and/or colour to a composition. You need to bring a sheet of painted watercolour paper. We will be cutting the paper into small pieces so it doesn’t have to be a picture just colour on the paper.

Socializing is the focus of our June meeting! Everyone is asked to bring a small plate of goodies to share so we can eat while we visit! The library will be open from 7 to 7:30 so you can get some books to use over the summer months. Catherine Cooper will be demonstrating a watercolour technique. You’ll get the paper to do your own sheet over the summer. Yes, you still get homework over the summer. You need to bring your completed sheet back in September to be able to do the program acivity.

Join us for a special meeting. John Cogley, the owner of Daniel Smith Artist Materials in Seattle, will be demonstrating some of his products that are suitable for calligraphy. We’ll also get a chance to try some of them out. We enjoyed testing Daniel Smith Walnut Ink in January. At this meeting you will get to try even more hands on.
WOOL: Westcoast Odyssey of Letters Registration is OPEN!
WOOL: Westcoast Odyssey of Letters is a biannual one-day conference held on the last Saturday of September. This is an opportunity to get a taste of calligraphy in the company of 60 like-minded people. Details of the Conference, including the registration form, are on the Conference Page.
